EC 201 - Principles of Microeconomics
"This course develops a model of individual consumers, producers and markets. We will begin by defining some commonly used terms and concepts in economics then cover the basic supply and demand model. Next we will study the behavior of households and firms, then combine the two in a perfectly competitive market. We will then relax the assumption of perfect competition and study monopolies, monopolistically competitive markets, and oligopoly. We will finish the course by studying market failures and income distribution."
ARTD 250 - Multimedia Survey
"This course will cover issues of information design, interactive design, presentation design, and technology in multimedia projects. Students will learn about the development of modern film, design, animation, and hypermedia through example. Students will also see examples of multimedia interface and functionality. Guest speakers from the field will talk about their education, employment, and current projects."
Joey Bargsten
WR 122 - College Composition II
"In WR 122, the process of argument is taught as a process of responsible inquiry, as opposed to persuasion for its own sake. Students learn that open-minded inquiry includes attending seriously to the arguments of people who may be very different from themselves and judging others' ideas fairly and according to the quality of reasons offered in their support."
Dropped this class after the first day. I just didn't get a good vibe from the teacher. I'm in no hurry to take this class, I can always take it next year or over the summer at the community college, so I don't see the point in putting myself through that now.
