Customized Online Yarn Stores

Project: Website design, customized eCommerce application
Skills involved: HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL

I am working with an eCommerce company, Ensign Systems, which sells point-of-sales software, to design and implement websites for yarn stores across the country. I create a custom design for the client, and set up an online shopping system customized to the different types of product each business sells. The website is tightly integrated with the store's point-of-sales software, and the website is kept up-to-date with the inventory at the store. I will also add any custom features to the website as desired by each client.

Excel Spreadsheet to Relational Database Converter

A professor at the university maintains a lot of data about international environmental treaties in Excel spreadsheets. He wants to make this information available and searchable online. I am creating a website he will use to post those excel spreadsheets online, which will automatically create MySQL tables and proper relationships between tables, based on some meta information he will add to each spreadsheet to define the relationships. He can also use the website to create and format common queries to be displayed on the website
